The Bowen Association of Australia is the association for Bowtech trained practitioners. Our membership requirements are in line with health industry best practice. We offer tiered membership categories depending on training qualifications. To apply for membership please follow the relevant link below.

Accredited Member

This class of membership is restricted to members who have:

  • Diploma of Bowen Therapy
  • Provide First Aid Certificate – HLTAID011
  • Current full professional indemnity insurance

Full Member

This class of membership is restricted to members who have:

  • Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy
  • Provide First Aid Certificate – HLTAID011
  • Current full professional indemnity insurance

Full Member – Bowtech for Animals

This class of membership is restricted to members who have:

  • A practitioner award in a recognised modality in Bowtech for Animals
  • Provide First Aid Certificate – HLTAID011
  • Current full professional indemnity insurance for the modality

International Member

This class of membership is restricted to members who have:

  • International Certificate of Bowen Therapy (as issued by Bowen Training Australia)
  • The minimum First Aid Certificate required by law in the country of practice
  • Current full professional indemnity insurance

This class of membership is restricted to members who have:

  • Certificate of Animal BowenCare (as issued by Bowen Training Australia)
  • Provide First Aid Certificate – HLTAID011
  • Current full professional indemnity insurance for the modality

In this class of membership the Association accepts students currently undertaking an approved course of study by Bowen Training Australia.

A person who has interest in and supports the aims and philosophies of Bowen Association Australia without the requirement to be fully qualified.
